Exeter woman arrested on domestic violence charges

EXETER — A 59-year-old Exeter woman was arrested this morning by state police on charges stemming from a domestic incident, authorities said.

At 9:31 a.m., troopers took Lori A. Tortolano of 135 New Road into custody without incident on charges of domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism, and domestic disorderly conduct.

The arrest followed an investigation by Trooper Miranda and occurred at Tortolano’s residence, adhering to the 24-hour domestic rule.

Following her arrest, Tortolano was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing.

She was later taken to Fourth Division District Court for arraignment.
