Boston police seek help identifying suspect in Roxbury armed robbery

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District B-2 are requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to an armed robbery that occurred on the evening of August 11.

The incident took place around 8:23 p.m. near the intersection of Dudley Street and Clarence Street in Roxbury.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic male between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches with a thin build, was wearing a dark mask and all-black clothing.

During the robbery, he spoke Spanish and was last seen fleeing down Dudley Street before turning left onto Langdon Street.

Authorities noted that the stolen item is a distinctive gold chain adorned with “Portuguese prayer hands” and blue pearls.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the case and urges anyone with information to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.

The department assures the confidentiality of the identities of informants who wish to remain anonymous.
