ROXBURY — A Keene man has been charged following an assault involving a 3D-printed weapon that left another man injured.
At 2:07 p.m. on July 22, State Troopers assigned to the Troop C barracks responded to a report of an assault at the Otter Brook Dam in Roxbury.
Upon arrival, Troopers located an adult male suffering from serious injuries.
Troopers immediately began investigating the facts and circumstances of the assault.
The investigation determined the assailant had used 3D printed knuckles in the assault, which resembled brass knuckles, and took a backpack from the victim before fleeing the scene.
Earlier today, August 14, the Keene Police Department executed an arrest warrant pursuant to this investigation and took Joshua K.
Abrams, 35, of Keene, into custody on charges of second degree assault and robbery.
Abrams is expected to be arraigned in Keene District Court on Thursday, August 15, and is currently being held on preventative detention.
