Hanover police detain person of interest in Plymouth homicide

HANOVER — Hanover Police Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop this morning at 9:45 a.m. on Columbia Road, detaining a 26-year-old male identified as a person of interest in a Plymouth homicide.

The individual was subsequently transferred to the custody of the Massachusetts State Police, who are investigating the case in collaboration with the Plymouth Police Department.

Authorities expressed gratitude to the public for their patience during the operation, which took place on a busy stretch of roadway.
