GROTON — Groton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a larceny incident at a local Dollar Tree store.
The incident, which involved the theft of items from another shopper, occurred recently at the Dollar Tree.
Despite the poor quality of the surveillance images obtained from the store, authorities are hopeful that someone may recognize the suspects.
“If you know them, you’re likely to recognize them,” the Groton Police Department stated in a release.
Officer Cipriano is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information about the identity of the individuals to contact him at 860-441-6712.
Tips can also be submitted directly to the Groton Police Department through messaging.
The police have not yet released details about the stolen items or the exact time of the theft.
They continue to analyze the footage and are reaching out to the community for additional leads.
