ASHBURNHAM — In a significant crackdown on drug-related activities, the North Worcester County Drug Task Force, in collaboration with the Massachusetts State Police Special Operations Tactical Team, executed two search warrants on Aug. 15 at a Water Street residence, resulting in multiple arrests and seizures.
The targeted operation, which culminated months of investigation, took place at 54 Water Street, apartments #1 and #3.
Authorities confiscated cocaine, drug paraphernalia, currency counting machines, and over $7,000 in cash during the raid.
Five individuals were apprehended and issued summons as a direct outcome of the operation.
Four of them were later taken to the Winchendon District Court for arraignment on various charges.
Among the arrested were Paige Quinn of Fitchburg, and Frank Kinneman of Hubbardston, both apprehended on outstanding arrest warrants.
Nouanmany Luangkhene, also from Fitchburg, faces multiple charges including possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and trafficking cocaine.
Heather McCart, who is currently homeless, was charged with possession of cocaine.
Lastly, James Jones of Ashburnham was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
The Ashburnham Police Department, led by Chief Chris W. Conrad, has reaffirmed their commitment to combating drug trafficking and its associated crimes in the community.
The success of this operation is seen as a significant blow to the local illicit drug trade.
The department has not released further details on the case, citing ongoing investigations.
