Arlington police seek help locating missing 15-year-old girl

ARLINGTON — Arlington Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old girl, Despina Douglas, who was last seen getting into an Uber around 9 p.m. last night, Aug. 14.

Despina is described as a white female with auburn hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black bodysuit.

According to authorities, her cell phone signal is currently pinging in the Medford/Malden area.

Chief of Police Juliann Flaherty urges anyone with information regarding Despina’s whereabouts to contact the Arlington Police Department at 781-316-3900.

The family of Despina Douglas is concerned for her safety and is seeking the community’s aid in locating her.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are actively searching for Despina.

The distribution of this information has been limited to law enforcement agencies as they coordinate efforts to find the missing juvenile.
