Three arrested in Webster drug trafficking bust

WEBSTER — Webster Police Department detectives have arrested three individuals for drug trafficking following the execution of a search warrant that uncovered crack cocaine and fentanyl.

The months-long investigation into the illegal sale and distribution of drugs in the Webster community led detectives to 5 Whitcomb Street, Apartment #1.

Prior to the warrant, detectives observed one of the suspects selling crack cocaine to a known individual.

On Aug. 9 at about 10:45 a.m., Webster detectives, accompanied by officers from the Southern Worcester County Counter Crime and Drug Task Force, carried out the search warrant.

They seized approximately 28 grams of crack cocaine, 4 grams of fentanyl, unknown pills, and cutting agents often used to dilute drugs for profit.

Arrested at the scene were Jeremy Adams, 47, Cameron Andrews, 30, and Nicole Packard, 33, all residents of the targeted apartment.

All three face charges including Trafficking in Cocaine 18-36 Grams, Possession to Distribute Class A Drug, and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law.

Andrews also faces a subsequent offense for the possession charge.

A fourth person present during the search was summoned to court on related drug charges.

The names and specific charges for the fourth individual have not been disclosed.
