Motorcyclist clocked at 134 mph evades Connecticut State Police

MARLBOROUGH — A Connecticut State Police Trooper conducting speed enforcement on Route 2 eastbound near Exit 13 clocked a motorcyclist at a staggering 134 mph early Wednesday.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. when the Trooper, assigned to the Traffic Services Unit, used a laser unit to measure the motorcycle’s speed.

Upon attempting to initiate a traffic stop, the motorcyclist accelerated, attempting to flee and engage the officer in pursuit.

Authorities noted that the motorcycle displayed an improperly used, cancelled Connecticut license plate, number 896674.

Additionally, the operator was described as wearing a helmet with a “Deadpool” sticker on the back.

Connecticut State Police are seeking public assistance to identify the individual.
