Manchester police investigate early morning juvenile shooting

MANCHESTER — A juvenile was injured in an early morning shooting on Saturday, authorities said.

Police responded to a report of gunfire at a residence at 227 Spruce Street at about 3:30 a.m.

Officers found a juvenile who had been inside the home during the incident.

The young victim had been struck by gunfire and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Manchester Police.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
