BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that terrorized two elderly women in Roxbury.
At about 8:20 p.m., on Monday, August 12, officers from District B-2 responded to a distressing incident at the intersection of Dudley St. and Clarence St. According to the victims’ report, the suspect followed the two elderly females as they walked, brandished a firearm, and forcibly stole a chain necklace from one of the victims by placing the weapon against her head.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male of unknown age, standing between 5’3″ and 5’4″ tall.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, a black face covering, and black pants.
The Boston Police Department is diligently reviewing the facts and circumstances of the robbery.
