1 min read

WARREN — Search and recovery teams worked through the day Sunday to locate 35-year-old Tuan Baldino, a missing swimmer from Paramus, New Jersey, who disappeared in the churning waters of Warren Falls.

Efforts to recover Baldino were hindered by the high and swift currents of the Mad River, leading to an unsuccessful search.

The Vermont State Police have announced that the search will resume as soon as river conditions improve, possibly on Monday, Aug. 12.

Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances that led to Baldino’s disappearance.

As the search is set to continue, Vermont State Police urge anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Berlin Barracks at 802-229-9191.

Updates on the recovery operation will be provided by the Vermont State Police as new information becomes available.
