Boston police seek public’s help to find missing 15-year-old girl

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 15-year-old Aniyah James, a resident of Dorchester, and is asking for the public’s help to locate her.

Aniyah was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26, near Devon Street, heading in the direction of Forest Hills Station.

She is described as a black female, approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall, with brown eyes and brown hair styled in a ponytail.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Aniyah’s whereabouts to contact 911 or reach out to Area C-11 Detectives at 617-343-4335.

For those who wish to provide information without revealing their identity, anonymous tips can be submitted by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
