WESTMINSTER — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Rockingham man on charges of cocaine possession and violating the conditions of his release, the Windham County Sheriff’s Office said.
Michael N. Spaulding, 50, was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over for a moving violation on U.S. Rt. 5 shortly before midnight on Aug. 10, according to Det. Sgt. Checchi.

Further investigation revealed that Spaulding was also not in compliance with conditions of release from a previous court order.
Spaulding was taken into custody, processed, and subsequently released on a criminal citation.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 17.
Assistance at the scene was provided by the Bellows Falls Police Department.
