Southbridge narcotics surveillance leads to two arrests, drugs seized

SOUTHBRIDGE — Detectives from the Southbridge Police Department conducting surveillance on Thursday arrested two men suspected of narcotics distribution following a vehicle stop on Worcester Street.

Officers observed Felix Rodriguez, 48, of Southbridge, and Jacob A.

Rudolph, 39, of Holland, allegedly engaging in a drug transaction.

A subsequent search of their vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 28 grams of suspected crack cocaine, various pills, and a quantity of suspected fentanyl.

Rodriguez faces charges of trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to violate the drug law.

Rudolph has been charged with conspiracy to violate the drug law.

Both suspects are being held on cash bail and await arraignment at Dudley District Court.
