Rocky Hill teen rescued from drowning, in stable condition after CPR

ROCKY HILL — On Thursday at approximately 6:54 p.m., the Rocky Hill Police Communication Center received an emergency 911 call about a drowning at the Concierge Apartments at 98 Cold Spring Road.

A 15-year-old was found unconscious in the water, and bystanders were performing CPR when police officers arrived.

The officers took over life-saving measures until the Rocky Hill Volunteer Ambulance and Aetna Ambulance reached the scene.

The teen regained consciousness and was able to communicate with emergency personnel.

The juvenile, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital in stable condition for further evaluation and care.

The incident is not being treated as criminal, and no additional information is being disclosed at this time.

The Rocky Hill Police Department expressed gratitude to the bystanders and first responders who provided immediate aid during the critical situation.
