FERRISBURGH — A Shelburne man was arrested late Tuesday evening on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault and recklessly endangering another person.
Vermont State Police troopers responded to a motor vehicle complaint on Sand Road at around 10:18 p.m. An investigation revealed that Peter Hoehl, 46, had used a vehicle to inflict serious bodily injury on a member of his household.
Hoehl was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the New Haven Barracks.
He was later released with conditions to appear before the Addison County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Aug. 7 at 12:30 p.m.
No information about the victim was released by the Vermont State Police, following their policy on cases of domestic violence or sexual assault.
Hoehl was not lodged and no bail was set.
