WESTBOROUGH — A truck struck a wire on Vinal Hill Road early Monday morning, leading to a shocking incident for the operator who was reportedly electrocuted upon exiting the vehicle.
Westborough Police and Fire Departments were called to the scene where they found the truck with the wire still attached.
The operator, who has not been identified, was said to have been shocked but did not sustain any injuries.
Authorities are still on the scene and are waiting for National Grid to arrive and address the situation.
Residents and commuters are advised to exercise caution when traveling in the area until the scene is fully secured and safe.
