SPRINGFIELD — Springfield police officers recovered two loaded large capacity firearms early Saturday after responding to a disturbance involving a vehicle.
At about 1:15 a.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of Roosevelt Avenue where a vehicle had reportedly struck multiple objects and possibly a parked car.

Dancy faces multiple charges, including carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded large capacity firearm on a public way, possession of a high-capacity magazine/feeding device, possession of ammunition without an FID card, unlicensed possession of an assault weapon, improper storage of a large capacity firearm, and leaving the scene of a property damage crash.
