Nashua police recover stolen electronics, arrest suspect

NASHUA — On August 3, Nashua Police Department officers responded to a theft report at the Residence Inn at 25 Trafalgar Sq. where a victim’s backpack filled with electronics valued at over $1,500 was stolen from a vehicle.

With the help of the victim, police utilized a tracking feature on one of the electronic devices to locate the items.

Their investigation led to the identification and arrest of 36-year-old Constance Stewart, who is of no fixed address in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Stewart, found in possession of the stolen goods, was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, a Class A Felony, and was taken into custody.

According to officials, all stolen electronics were recovered.

Following the arrest, the Criminal Investigation Division continued to investigate the case.

Stewart declined the services of a bail commissioner and is being held until her arraignment, scheduled for August 5 at 1 p.m. at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.
