GROTON — Local authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a motorcyclist who evaded multiple traffic stops on Saturday, engaging in reckless and dangerous driving throughout the town.
The Groton Police Department released images of the individual and motorcycle in question, urging anyone with information to come forward.
The incidents involved several motor vehicle violations that prompted police to try to stop the operator, who then fled each attempt.
Officials have not disclosed the specific nature of the violations but emphasized that the motorcyclist’s behavior posed a significant risk to public safety.
