Waterbury man arrested for threatening campers, trespassing

WATERBURY — A Waterbury man was arrested on charges of criminal threatening and unlawful trespass after an incident at Little River State Park on Feb. 8 at about 10 p.m.

Vermont State Police responded to a report of a man making threats to nearby campers at the park.

Upon arrival, troopers encountered Jesse Lubold, who allegedly refused to vacate the premises.

Nicole Clinton, 41, and Kevin Harms, 63, both from Winooski, were identified as the victims of the threats.

Lubold was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.

He was later released with a citation.

The incident remains under investigation.
