New Haven pizza shop robbed at knifepoint, suspect at large

NEW HAVEN — Police are on the lookout for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a local pizza restaurant on Dayton Street just before 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

According to authorities, the unidentified individual brandished a knife, demanded money from the establishment, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was last seen running down Fairfield Street towards Pardee Place.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

The New Haven Police Department is actively investigating the robbery and urges anyone with information to come forward.
