MARSHFIELD — A Marshfield man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after his vehicle hit a guardrail on Interstate 89 on Thursday.
At around 5:27 p.m., Vermont State Police responded to multiple reports of a silver SUV that had collided with the guardrail near mile marker 67 after failing to stay in its lane.
Upon arrival, troopers took 43-year-old Daniel Williams into custody on suspicion of DUI.
After being transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing, Williams was later released to a responsible adult.
He received a citation and will be expected to appear in court to face the charges.
