Rhode Island state police make two arrests in separate incidents

WARWICK — Rhode Island State Police arrested two men in separate incidents on Route 95 in Warwick on Saturday night.

At 8:55 p.m., troopers arrested Nathan Patterson, 26, of Barrington, Rhode Island, during a traffic stop.

Patterson was wanted on an arrest warrant for violation of a protection order issued by the Barrington Police Department.

He was taken to Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing before being transferred to Barrington police custody.

In a separate incident at 11:45 p.m., troopers arrested Eric Pinault, 35, of Providence, Rhode Island, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor – first offense.

Pinault was transported to Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

He was released to a responsible adult and given a future court date in Third District Court.

The arrests were made during routine traffic stops on Route 95 in Warwick.
