Dracut man charged in Nashua Lowe’s theft spree

NASHUA — A Massachusetts man faces felony charges for allegedly stealing from a Nashua Lowe’s store multiple times over several months.

Hoai Dao, 41, of Dracut, Mass., was arrested July 30 on a felony warrant for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer exceeding $1,500, a Class A felony, Nashua police said.

The arrest stems from 11 separate thefts reported at the Nashua Lowe’s between Dec. 11 and March 22.

Store officials notified police of the incidents on April 14.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division conducted an investigation, leading to the arrest warrant for Dao.

Dao was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned at 1 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 9th Circuit Court – District Division in Nashua.
