ROCKLAND — In a joint operation with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Apprehension Team, Rockland Police detectives arrested a 23-year-old Braintree man on drug charges last Friday.

The arrest occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on July 26 when Rockland Police Detective Bureau members, along with the uniform patrol, were assisting the Sheriff’s Department near 42 Church St. During the operation, police approached and interviewed the occupants of a gold Lexus SUV.

While speaking with the individuals, detectives noticed the passenger, later identified as Sean Blakeslee, rummaging through the glove box.

Officers also observed drug paraphernalia on the front seat of the vehicle.

A search subsequently led to the discovery of a clear plastic bag containing Crack Cocaine.

Blakeslee was taken into custody by Rockland detectives and charged with possession of a Class B substance.

The Rockland Police Department has not released further details on the incident pending an ongoing investigation.
