NEW LONDON — On Tuesday night, New London Police were called to the scene of a reported shooting at the intersection of Fitch Ave. and Vauxhall St.
Authorities received reports of gunfire around 9:58 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found multiple shell casings, confirming the initial reports.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
The New London Police Department’s Investigative Services Division is actively collecting evidence, processing the scene, and canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses and further information.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with knowledge of the shooting to come forward.
