ALBURGH — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on multiple charges following a single-vehicle crash on Blair Rd near Greenwoods Rd on July 30.

Authorities identified the driver as 43-year-old Lee Collins of Alburgh.

After responding to the incident around 7:10 p.m., officers observed signs of impairment in Collins.

A DUI screening led to his arrest and transportation to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing.

Investigations concluded that Collins had operated the vehicle in violation of an existing abuse prevention order and conditions of release, which prohibited him from consuming alcohol.

Additionally, Collins’ license was found to be criminally suspended due to a prior DUI offense.

Collins is scheduled to appear in Grand Isle County Superior Court to face charges including a second DUI offense, criminal driving with a suspended license, violation of an abuse prevention order, and breach of conditions of release.
