Waterford police seek public’s help in theft investigation

WATERFORD — The Waterford Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft at a local Target on July 24.

According to the police, the individual entered the store and selected various home goods products worth a total of $231.16.

The items, meant to freshen up a home, were taken without payment.

The department has acknowledged awareness of the suspect’s license plate and is pursuing that lead.

Nonetheless, police continue to urge residents in both Norwich and Willimantic areas to come forward with any information that may help resolve the case.
