ROYALTON — A local man was taken into custody by the Royalton Police Department on July 18 after an officer on patrol was alerted to an active warrant for his arrest.
Officer J. Oliver, while providing backup support to the Randolph Police Department on an unrelated incident, apprehended 38-year-old Paul Manning of Royalton.
The arrest occurred on VT RT 110 at around 6 p.m.
Manning was issued a citation and transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility.
He is scheduled to appear at the Windsor County Vermont Superior Court to face charges related to the outstanding warrant.
The details of the warrant were not immediately released.
The Royalton Police Department has not provided further information on the incident that led to Manning’s arrest.
