East Hampton police make multiple arrests, issue citations over the week

EAST HAMPTON — The East Hampton Police Department had a busy week addressing various incidents, resulting in several arrests and traffic citations, according to a recent press release.

Daniel Plourde, 43, was apprehended on July 17 for two separate incidents, including sixth-degree larceny for shoplifting and evading responsibility.

Plourde is slated to appear at the Middletown Superior Court on Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.

On the same day, Tucker Minor, 26, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

After posting a $10,000 non-surety bond, Minor was released with a court date set for July 30 at 9 a.m.

Traffic enforcement also led to several citations for speeding.

Michael Calabro, 26, of Portland, was ticketed on July 18 for traveling unreasonably fast.

A few days later, on July 22, Ramon Pacheco, 41, received a similar citation along with an additional charge for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Emily Winalski, 31, was arrested on July 24 for driving under the influence.

Winalski was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is due in court on Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.

Minor faced additional legal trouble when he turned himself in on July 26 for an active warrant related to disorderly conduct and allowing minors to possess alcohol.

He was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond, with a court appearance scheduled for July 29 at 9 a.m.

On July 27, a 17-year-old male from Portland was ticketed for following too closely and violating a driving curfew after an investigation into a two-car accident.

Nicholas Ghosh, 18, was arrested on July 29 for disorderly conduct and possession of a controlled substance.

Ghosh’s court date was set for July 31 at 9 a.m.

Also on July 29, Brett Houlihan, 62, was taken into custody on an active warrant for failure to appear in the second degree.

Houlihan posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 13 at 9 a.m.

Between July 22 and July 28, officers responded to 17 medical calls, three motor vehicle accidents, seven alarms, and made 30 traffic stops.
