UNDERHILL — A black motorcycle was clocked traveling nearly double the speed limit on Route 15 on July 28, leading to a high-speed pursuit by Vermont State Police.
The unidentified motorcyclist was first spotted at 11:07 a.m. going 95 mph in a 50 mph zone and then 73 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to the Williston Barracks officials.
When troopers attempted to intercept, the operator fled the scene, initiating a search for the individual.
Authorities are currently seeking assistance to identify the motorcyclist.
The Vermont State Police urge anyone with information about the incident to contact Trooper Archer to aid in the investigation.
