Waitsfield woman arrested for second DUI, driving with suspended license and active warrant

BETHEL — A Waitsfield woman was arrested on multiple charges including suspicion of a second DUI after Vermont State Police responded to a call about a vehicle off the road on Whittier Rd. in Bethel on July 24.

Meredith Marble, 41, was identified as the driver when authorities arrived at approximately 7:12 p.m. Troopers noted impairment indicators and took Marble into custody, transporting her to the Royalton Barracks.

Further investigation revealed that Marble’s driver’s license was criminally suspended.

Additionally, she had an outstanding arrest warrant in Washington County for Failure to Appear.

After processing, Marble was released with a citation to appear at the Washington County Superior Court on July 25 regarding the warrant.

She is also cited to appear at the Windsor County Superior Court on Aug. 13 at 8 a.m. to face the charges of suspicion of DUI #2 and operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
