HOPKINTON — Police are cautioning residents to be on the lookout for individuals claiming to work for Green Paving & Masonry, following reports of a scam involving suspects who allege they are from the UK or Ireland.
The Hopkinton Police Department issued an alert after identifying the operation as fraudulent.
These parties have been approaching homeowners, offering paving and masonry services under the guise of Green Paving & Masonry, a business that is known to the authorities for previous scams.
Residents who encounter anyone representing Green Paving & Masonry or claiming to be affiliated with the company are urged to not engage with them and to immediately contact the Hopkinton Police Department.
