Boston police seek help to ID suspects in Roxbury armed robbery

BOSTON — Detectives assigned to the Boston Police Department’s District B-2 are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying several individuals connected to an armed robbery in Roxbury.

The robbery occurred at approximately 7:40 a.m. on July 22 in the vicinity of 218 Blue Hill Avenue.

According to authorities, a group of seven individuals assaulted a victim with a knife, inflicting non-life threatening injuries.

During the attack, the victim’s purse was stolen, which contained credit cards, money, house keys, and two cell phones.

The Boston Police Department released descriptions of two suspects involved in the incident.

One is described as a light-skinned female with a grey/black wig, dressed in all black.

The other is a black male with dreads, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a Celtics hoodie.

Investigators are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances of the robbery.

The department assures that the identities of individuals providing anonymous tips will be protected.
