State police investigate late-night shooting in Danbury

DANBURY — A shooting incident in Danbury is under investigation by the New Hampshire State Police following the injury of an adult male on Monday night.

At 10:09 p.m. on July 22, State Troopers from Troop D barracks were dispatched to a residence in Danbury after receiving reports of a shooting.

Around the same time, officers from the Grafton Police Department and Troopers from Troop F barracks were called to a home in Grafton for a gunshot victim.

Initial findings suggest that the shooting took place in Danbury, after which the injured adult male traveled to Grafton.

The victim was subsequently taken to a medical facility to receive treatment for his injuries.

Authorities have identified all individuals involved in the incident and have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
