WESTMINSTER — A section of Worcester Road (Route 140) between Patricia Road and Mile Hill Road has been closed due to a tractor-trailer accident that resulted in downed electrical wires and a telephone pole, police said.
The Westminster Police Department announced the emergency road closure after the vehicle pulled down the lines, leaving the roadway blocked and impassable.
Authorities have notified National Grid about the incident.
