NORTH HAVEN — Responding to a reported purse snatching at the Longhorn Steakhouse parking lot, North Haven officers were called to the scene at approximately 5 p.m. today.
A 75-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot when her purse was snatched, causing her to fall to the ground.
Authorities later recovered the suspect vehicle, unoccupied, in Hamden.
The North Haven Police Department is actively investigating the incident and is asking for witnesses to come forward with any information.
The department stresses that callers can remain anonymous.
