Enosburg resident arrested on warrant after Berkshire disturbance

BERKSHIRE — A 40-year-old Enosburg resident was arrested on an active warrant following a disturbance on Route 105 on July 22.

Sidney Pecor was apprehended by Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks after they responded to the incident around 7:57 p.m. Pecor, identified as the individual involved in the disturbance, was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant.

The warrant listed charges including simple assault under, a misdemeanor, violation of an abuse prevention order, also a misdemeanor; and violation of probation.

Following the arrest, Pecor was issued a flash citation to appear in court the next business day at 1 p.m. for these charges.

Further details about the disturbance have not been released at this time.
