LOUDON — A utility terrain vehicle (UTV) roll-over on private property injured three minors on July 21 at approximately 5 p.m., according to New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers.
The incident occurred near 346 Lovejoy Road, where the UTV, being operated by one of the minors, rolled over with two additional occupants inside.
All three were wearing safety harnesses at the time of the crash but did not have helmets on.
Responding to the scene were Loudon Police, Loudon Ambulance Service, and a Conservation Officer.
The two injured occupants were taken by their parents to a local medical facility for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department urges that minors operating off-highway recreational vehicles (OHRVs) should be supervised by an adult and should always wear the appropriate safety equipment.
