PEPPERELL — A local man faces numerous firearms and drug charges after a SWAT team search of his home, authorities said Saturday.
Dustin Martell was taken into custody July 20 following a search warrant executed by the North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC) SWAT team, assisting the Pepperell Police Department.
Martell is charged with possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of a firearm without a Firearm Identification Card (FID), improper storage of a firearm in a vehicle, possession of ammunition without an FID card, possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a Class B drug, and five counts of possession of a Class E drug.
The operation involved coordination with multiple agencies, including the NEMLEC SWAT and K9 unit and the Littleton Police Department, both of which were acknowledged by the Pepperell Police Department for their support in the successful execution of the search warrant.
