Kensington police advise shelter in place due to armed subject

KENSINGTON — Residents of Olivia Lane were urged to shelter in place Thursday morning as police responded to a potentially dangerous situation involving an armed individual reportedly barricaded inside a home.

The situation began unfolding early in the day when Kensington Police received reports of a subject with a firearm.

The Seacoast Emergency Response Team (SERT) was deployed to the scene as a precautionary measure.
