CONCORD — A man wanted by Boston police for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon was arrested by Concord police after local authorities investigated a separate assault in the city.
Vincent Mott, 32, of Concord, NH, was identified as a suspect by the Concord Police Department on July 18, following a tip about a wanted individual living in the area.
The next day, Concord patrol officers responded to an assault call within the city.
Subsequent investigation led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Mott.
Detectives later executed a search warrant at a North Main Street apartment and apprehended Mott.
He is now facing charges of second-degree assault, a felony, and fugitive from justice in relation to the Boston charges.
After being processed at the Concord Police Department, Mott declined the services of a bail commissioner.
He is currently detained at the Merrimack County House of Corrections and is awaiting arraignment in Concord District Court on July 22.
