Whitingham burglary under investigation, police seek information

WHITINGHAM — The Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence on Poverty Row, where an intruder forcibly entered and stole various items.

The incident was reported to the Westminster Barracks at 9:58 p.m. on July 19.

The homeowner, Erin Kelley, 47, of Chester, Virginia, was not present when the break-in occurred.

According to authorities, the burglary is believed to have taken place between June 28 and July 19.

A detailed list of the stolen items is being compiled and will be released when available.

Trooper Elias, leading the investigation, urges anyone with information related to this crime to come forward.
