STAMFORD — A multi-agency investigation led by the Stamford Police Department’s Narcotics & Organized Crime Unit and the DEA’s Bridgeport Residence Office has resulted in the arrest of a man for fentanyl and cocaine sales in Fairfield County.
Edwin Abrams, born on Sept. 14, 1981, was taken into custody on July 17 after a suspected narcotics transaction outside his residence at 335 Wells Street Apartment #4 in Bridgeport.
The arrest followed a joint effort involving the FBI’s Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and Bridgeport Police Department.
During the arrest, authorities seized $10,693 from Abrams.
A subsequent search of his apartment uncovered an additional $1,313, approximately 112 grams of cocaine, 73 grams of fentanyl, packaging materials, and scales.
Abrams has been charged with three counts of Sale of Narcotics and held on a $100,000 bond.
As a result of Abrams being on Special Parole until 2030, a parole remand was issued, ensuring his detention.
