Portland police arrest man after shots fired on Woodford Street

PORTLAND — Portland Police responded to a report of shots fired at 355 Woodford Street at 7:17 a.m. Friday, leading to the arrest of a 40-year-old man.

According to authorities, Chi Ho of Portland was involved in an altercation that escalated, resulting in Ho discharging his firearm at the location.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Following the investigation, Ho was taken into custody and charged with Reckless Conduct With A Dangerous Weapon.

The incident prompted an immediate police response, and the area was secured as investigators worked at the scene.

Police are continuing their investigation and have called on the community for assistance.

They are asking anyone with information, or those who may have heard the gunshots, to come forward to aid in the inquiry.
