BRATTLEBORO — A Brattleboro woman was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly burglarizing a home and possessing narcotics, according to the local police.

Authorities reported that on July 16, at around 6:05 p.m., they responded to a burglary at a residence on Putney Road.

April Garcia, 31, of Hartford, Connecticut, is accused of forcefully entering the home, stealing the occupant’s phones and car keys, and brandishing a firearm tucked in her waistband.

After leaving the scene, Garcia purportedly returned to threaten the residents further before departing again.
