CAVENDISH — The Windsor County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspicious vehicle allegedly involved in an attempted theft of a lawn mower in the Cavendish area.
Authorities say the incident occurred early Tuesday morning.
The vehicle in question was spotted by a local resident who reported seeing an individual attempting to steal a lawn mower from a neighbor’s property.
The suspect fled the scene when they realized they had been seen.
Residents are reminded to secure their belongings and report any unusual activity to law enforcement.
