WORCESTER — A 54-year-old man sustained serious head injuries after being struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck at the intersection of Park Avenue and Pleasant Street on July 16.
Worcester Police officers responded to the incident at approximately 5:44 p.m. and found the injured pedestrian, who was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Dodge Ram remained at the scene following the collision.
The Worcester Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
No further details regarding the pedestrian’s condition or the investigation have been released at this time.
